I have recently moved back to Lancaster, as I'm no longer a student.
I will miss Newcastle a lot as it's a fantastic city, and I've lived there for five years.
Although Lancaster is a small city, there's some alright food places.
In my first week back I tried this new place called THE RADISH
http://www.radishcatering.co.uk/#the-radish-lancaster
I had the soup and salad for about £5-£6 pounds and it was delicious. The salads are really great, colourful and tasty. The prices are quite high so you couldn't make this your regular lunch spot unless your on an overly average wage.
However as a treat and an excuse to detox, this is the place to go.
Here are some photos, the food is of the highest quality and it's a place Lancaster needs, as there aren't many places to eat out where you can choose a variety of healthy food. You usually find something greasy and inedible in Lancaster's food facilities.
The vegetarian lifestyle is on the rise and we should have diets like this more than 4-5 times a week.
If you find yourself in Lancaster, give the radish a visit as it's great food, great vibes and makes you feel energized.
Thanks for the recommendation! I've looked in the window a couple of times but not taken the plunge yet.
ReplyDeleteWell Martin you should pop in, as it's definitely worth a visit. I recommend you try the soup of the day with a small salad.
ReplyDeleteThe Olives are to die for too!!
Let me know what you think, hope you enjoy :)
Thank you so much for your lovely write up! Sorry it's taken so long for us to find it. I don't get a chance to tweet much. See you again! X
